The One Thing I’m Adding to Every Breakfast Now
Photographs, quiet cravings, and a new breakfast hero.

After weeks of chasing the right angle and editing frame by frame, I’ve found myself drawn to something slower: photography. The kind that lets you stop, frame a slice of toast just right, and capture the light before it fades. No looping soundtracks, no timelines to cut—just colors, texture, and the soft click of a shutter.
I’ll still shoot videos (I love them), but this week, I’m carving out space for stillness. For photographing food not just to post, but to remember.
Pantry Hero of the Week: Skyr Yogurt
(Okay, not technically a pantry item, but go with me.)
It lives in the fridge, sure—but this creamy, tangy Icelandic-style yogurt has earned a star spot in my everyday lineup.
Higher in protein than Greek yogurt, naturally low in sugar, and thick enough to hold up berries, granola, or even a spoonful of nut butter, Skyr has been a quiet MVP this week.
Skyr yogurt with dark chocolate peanut butter, crunchy apples, and almond granola, can there be a better breakfast bowl?
I’ve stirred it into breakfast bowls, used it as a spread, and even sneaked a spoonful into muffin batter. It’s subtle, versatile, and seriously underrated.
If you’re looking for a nourishing swap this week, let this be it.
This Week’s Top 3 Treats
A quiet reel I filmed without music, just the sound of chopping (although I’ve not uploaded it yet).
The view from my kitchen that frames swaying trees and soft rain.
The scent of my home when warm banana oat muffins are rising in the oven.
What’s Cooking Next Week?
Thinking of doing a quiet “reel-less” breakfast—just a photo series. Maybe a voiceover video. Or a narrated vlog. Haven’t decided yet, but I’m itching to explore new ways of storytelling.
